This branding project is for a startup pizza company to be located in downtown Winston-Salem. The name comes from the root word of the owners last name being Zä. This can also be pronounced in the phrase ’za, being slang for ‘pizza’, using it as a play on words to form a unique and chill identity that fits the owner: easy going, full of creativity, and always hungry.

The visual language was inspired by west coast skate and surf culture. The tone needed to be fun and laid back while making the viewer hungry for za! We carried that same ethos to make the brand vibrant throughout.
